A Facelift Alternative That Starts at the Bone
Looking for an alternative to a facelift? Most facelift alternatives work on the skin or the soft tissue. Ben Sheng Gu Yuan in Guangzhou starts one layer deeper, at the bone, then repositions the fascia and tightens the skin. It is a minimally invasive approach for people whose changes look skeletal, such as a flat midface, a hollow beside the nose or a recessed chin.
When Bone Support May Be the Missing Piece
- A flat or collapsed midface, or a hollow beside the nose
- Deep nasolabial folds that fillers only soften for a while
- A recessed chin or a weak jawline
- A flat forehead or a sunken look around the eyes
How Facial Bone Regeneration Works
- Bone first. A bioactive biomaterial is placed on the bone surface to rebuild depleted support.
- Fascia second. Descending soft tissue is repositioned.
- Skin last. The skin is tightened so it sits closer to the bone beneath.

The Root Cause Solution
Bone First, Fascia Second, Skin Last
Tier 1
Bone-Layer Regeneration
Restores depleted skeletal support, remedies mid-face collapse, and creates stable native bony foundations.
Tier 2
Fascial Repositioning
Realigns descending soft tissues, resolving soft-tissue detachment and nasolabial-fold accumulation.
Tier 3
Epidermal Rejuvenation
Tightens skin to bone: skin adheres to bone, soft tissue anchored by bone, bone sustains facial appearance.

Frequently Asked Questions About Facial Bone Regeneration in Guangzhou
1. What is facial bone regeneration?
Facial bone regeneration treats facial aging at the deepest layer, the bone. At Ben Sheng Gu Yuan, a bioactive biomaterial is placed on the bone surface to stimulate your own bone-forming cells, followed by fascia repositioning and skin tightening. The aim is to restore the support that your skin and soft tissue rest on. Learn how facial bone regeneration works.
2. Is this a good alternative to a facelift?
It can be for people whose concerns look skeletal, such as a flat midface, a hollow beside the nose or a recessed chin. It is not designed for heavy loose skin, which is usually better treated with surgery. We assess every layer of your face before recommending anything. See our guide to facelift alternatives.
3. Who is a good candidate for bone-first rejuvenation?
People who notice midface collapse, deep nasolabial folds that fillers do not hold, a weak chin, a flat forehead or a sunken look around the eyes. Every treatment begins with a medical assessment and signed informed consent, and we only proceed when it is medically safe and suitable for you. Tell us about your medical history, medications and allergies.
4. Does the treatment involve incisions?
We use 2–3 mm micro-punctures, with no surgical incisions or stitches. It is still a medical procedure performed by surgeons in a hospital setting, so it begins with an assessment and informed consent, and your surgeon explains recovery and aftercare in advance.
5. Which areas of the face can you treat?
Our six core programs cover the nasal base, full face, chin and jawline, brow arch, forehead and deep nasolabial folds. Our gallery also shows cases for the temples and the infraorbital area. Browse the treatment programs.
6. How long do the results last?
We design the treatment to be long-lasting because the goal is to rebuild your own bone. Results vary from person to person, and no clinic can guarantee permanence, so your surgeon should discuss realistic expectations and your timeline before you commit.
7. Is cosmetic surgery in China safe for overseas patients?
Safety depends on the institution, the surgeon and the procedure, not on the country alone. At any clinic, check the licence, the surgeon’s qualifications, the registration of any materials and the aftercare plan before you travel. Our hospital holds China’s highest, Level IV, surgical qualification, and our team can explain our credentials during your consultation. Read our guide to plastic surgery in China for foreigners.
8. Can I have a consultation before traveling to Guangzhou?
Yes. Our online consultation is complimentary and available in Chinese, English or Korean. Send clear front and profile photographs and your medical history, and you receive a preliminary assessment, proposal and cost estimate before you decide to travel.
9. What do the concierge packages include and cost?
Our four medical escort and concierge packages range from $1,000 to $5,000. They cover services such as airport pickup from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, interpreter support in English, Korean and Arabic, and hotel stays on selected plans. Your treatment estimate is provided separately after your consultation. See the pricing page.
10. How far in advance should I book, and what should I bring?
We recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks ahead, because surgical slots are limited. Bring your passport, any previous facial imaging or surgical records, and a list of your medications and allergies. Your in-person consultation takes 45 to 90 minutes and includes 3D scanning and facial bone mapping. We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfer, WeChat Pay and Alipay, and the initial consultation fee is credited toward your procedure if you proceed.
